General info for your visit:

*NO OUTSIDE FOOD or DRINK PERMITTED, no exceptions

*We are NOT kid-friendly and request that guardians please respect the wishes of our guests and the winery for adults-only

*We do not take reservations, we offer first-come, first-serve indoor & outdoor seating

*Groups of 10+ not currently accepted

*Dog-and-human-friendly dogs on leashes are welcome!! 

*We are marijuana-friendly (it’s legal!), smoking is allowed anywhere outdoors 20 feet away from all structures with roofs

*Please no parking at boat launch parking; reserved for park land visitors only

NATURE!

*We have an upper deck which you are free to enjoy, overlooking over 3,000 acres of wetlands preserve

*Hiking Trails, Bald Eagle viewing, and the kayak boat launch can be found across the street! For more info on bird species, hiking trails, and becoming a member of the Bashakill Area Association, go to: https://thebashakill.org


EVENTS/SPECIAL OCCASSION GROUPS:

*Groups of 10+ not currently permitted as we try to maintain an intimate setting, thank you for your understanding

*No outside food or drink permitted, including special occasion cakes or pastries

*As we are a sustainable winery on a nature preserve, we are very lucky, but it comes with a responsibility to our animal friends and to the waterways. For this reason, we do not allow any: confetti, streamers, party decorations, straws, small plastic game pieces or decorations like mardi gras beads, opening of presents, plastic cutlery, noise-makers like blow horns, paper plates, plastic cups, etc. Thank you for helping us to protect these amazing wetlands!

*Limos and buses not permitted to park on site. They may drop off guests (9 or less guests) and park at the Park & Ride on 209 near the on/off exit of 17W and 17E.

WHERE TO STAY:

*We live in the town of Mamakating, where there are over 30 beautiful places to rent on Air BnB for local visits! We highly suggest checking out our wonderful friends on Air Bnb where you can have a unique stay in our lovely Castkills! Mamakating Stays on Air BnB

*For those looking for a beautiful, romantic Inn, we highly suggest the Inn At Lake Joseph, which is a gorgeous escape only 15-20 minutes away

Wine & tastings:

*Try any 3 wines for free, or any 6 and keep your souvenir glass for $12

*We have our own craft-made wine, local beers, handmade cocktails from local spirits, and non-alcoholic cocktails and drinks.

*All of our wines are vegan

*We make: dry reds; dry, off-dry, and semi-sweet whites, sparkling wines, and rosé & blush wines, to check our current availability, click the “MENU” tab :)

*We have a chef on-premises with a full kitchen staff. We offer a changing, seasonal menu that includes: the best craft tacos!, cured meat boards, cheese plates, spring rolls and herbs, tapas, & handmade ice cream sandwiches!

*Grab-your-own-drinks also available in our tasting room with an array of crackers, jam, drinks, cold coffees, and more!

*Gluten-free and vegan always always available

*As an adult winery, we do not offer a children’s menu, thank you for your understanding

TRAIN: Nestled in the verdant foothills of the Catskills, we are 9 minutes from the OTISVILLE Train Station, off the NJ Transit Line.
